Georgetown (GM) - Group of locals on the road's by krisek

Georgetown - Gambia, the Not necessarily yet in the former capital, Georgetown (Janjanbureh), but on the way, near the Kerrabatch stones - they just asked for their photo to be taken. It was Boxing Day.

What happened? I love The Gambia! People have been so nice to me and I made great friends there - and never again did I have to book accommodation (and I do not mind cold bucket showers)! The country is my third most favourite in Africa... jacko1 - Dec, 29 2009 09:12pm Krys, I was, for my sins, married at the time and she insisted that a hotel package was her thing, we were trapped in an enclave and not allowed to leave after 9.30pm "for our own safety" suffice to say that she has been my 'previous' wife for many years:-). krisek - Dec, 29 2009 09:12pm Tony, I see. Well, I found The Gambia amongst the safest place to wander around at night and go partying - bar a few dodgy spots here and there, but those can be found in every country (London's East side is not that pretty or safe at all...).
