The New Bridge's UFO observation spot-cum-bar-cum-restaurant is superb to see the capital from above. The ride to the top of the bridge is €6.50 (Nov 2009) and the observation deck on the top of the saucer is open-air. The restaurant and bar inside the saucer is interesting and wobbly. It is shakkking all the time, and whenever a large vehicle passes through the bridge 95 meters below, the plastic glasses on the plastic shelves rang. The tables and chairs are also made from translucent, clear plastic for appropriate weight distribution. They serve a great caffe latte and a magnificent coconut mojito (all €10.60). The restaurant is open in the evenings only, and it serves Mediterrasian cuisine. If one makes a reservation, the ride to the top is free of charge. The service is very professional.
