Prague - Czech Republic, Hlavni Mesto Praha The stairwell in the House of the Black Madonna in Celetná Street shows all charcteristics of cubism. The main shape in cubism is a cube and all other works of art are derived from this shape, as is seen here in the railings.

I like it :) horourke - Jan, 17 2012 01:01pm I have never before thought "fractal" in looking at spiral staircases. Do we know the name of the architect. It is a little reminiscent of Gaudi's work in Barcelona.
