Statues at the Sea Front is the open air museum and is part of the museum Beelden aan Zee just behind the sea front in Harteveldstraat.
23 statues of fairytale figures are permenantly on display on the sea front. When walking in southern direction, keep the sea on your right, Statues on the Seafront is on your left, just before the light house.
The bronze statues represent familar characters. You will find Hansel in a cage and a worried Gretel, Gulliver in Liliputian and a huge spidery figure eaten herring. The statues are the work of the New York sculpturer Tom Otterness.
