Lunar eclipse seen from my balcony's by mortimer

Thun - Switzerland I tried to get a shot of the lunar eclipse on 4-March-07 but couldn't manage better... :-( this shot was taken on blub mode. It's shaky or moving moon

At 40s exposure I don't think that the moon moves that wide with just a 200m lense. Did you try 30s with Selbstausl.? mortimer - Mar, 05 2007 12:03pm Yes I tried 30 and 15 sec both with selbstausl. but the result was more or less the same... I don't understand. I'm a bit dissapointed as I have other normal moon shots showing lot more details. mortimer - Mar, 05 2007 12:03pm Perhaps the motion ot the mirror also gave a little bit of disturbance. There are cameras that have a "Spiegelvorauslösung" mine has not, might also be a part of the problem. mistybleu - Mar, 05 2007 06:03pm Martin, excellent shot; when not really, but the fact that you were able to capture it at all is amazing.
