Blue Nile falls's by plancarpin

Bahir Dar - Ethiopia just 35 km away from Bahir Dar lies the Blue Nile Falls (Tis Isat in Amharic, ( meaning Water that smokes). When discovered by Scot James Bruce around 1780, the Nile was 400 m wide and the fall was 36 m high. Due to the nearby hydro power station, the falls are much smaller nowadays, but still attractive, especially after the challenging trek.
