crystal iceberg's by plancarpin

Tiniteqilaaq - Greenland Some explanations there: this strange colour reflects an ultra old iceberg (most probably over 100.000 years). The atoms of oxygen and hydrogen are soo compacted that the ice is not more white.. first point.. second point, what we are seing, was under the sea some days or weeks ago (40 to 50m). This because of the melting above the water surface, the gravity's center of the iceberg makes it to flip over...like an heavy pancake..letting us to see the hidden part of it... sorry, it was a bit dictatic..!

And as you know, each colour is having a specific wave length, and blue is the major colour which absorbs the white light.. this is also why the sky is blue and the sea as well.. now another question subsists in this scientific exchange: why are some icebergs white and others blue? and now, the answer is detailled under my pic..
