I share your hope. marianne - Sep, 07 2008 06:09am David, These are shoes for bound feet, which is no longer allowed in Malacca, but there are still a few old ladies who have these mutilated feet and they need shoes. There are very few shoemakers who still make them and I think Wah Aik in Malacca is one of the few of them.
