Yeah, I'm a sucker for a nice sunset too. Have to say it was freezing cold and blowing a gale when i took this picture! A great way to blow away those lazy New Year cobwebs!

...the ocean! - man is soooo small compared to the energy of waves, superbly shown in your slide-show. - cannt surf myself (properly yet), tried so hard at Durban once. Sport and travel are ONE it is said, surfers know!

Well, that was a fast response! I'm in thr process, at the mo, researching hostels etc for my travels this summer, tis how i ended up signing up to here. I'm planning on going interrailing round europe in July, want to see mainly eastern europe as i haven't had the chance to venture there much.
Where abouts are you from, yorkshire i presumes? Have you got any travels planned?

Happy New Year, too... Good to hear, that you're pedastrian again. But be careful with magnets... ;-) (ok, that's an old joke - sorry)!
And thank's a lot for rating my pictures. Well, you're right, I should take the picture before sipping - but, you know, what would you do with a fresh beer?
Just let me know if you ever visit Düsseldorf - we should try to take a better picture.....
