Bravo on your picture of the month. If it would be just me you'd have most of your pictures as pics of the month. :-) You are a great photographer I always enjoy looking at your pics. It definitely tempts me to visit the same places.

Hi Manfred,
Congratulations on being awarded Picture of the Month!
It is a lovely shot of Faial Island, Horta. I thought that my geography was reasonable but had to admit I did'nt know of its location.

i spent happy days on thoose two islands and on Flores in 1995.

I really enjoyed your pictures of Hamburg. I especially loved the sail boat. I was in Hamburg for a few hours only a few years ago. Your pictures wants me to return and enjoy a few days in the Venice of Germany.
