Hi Amanda,

You asked about reducing the size of your images to become acceptable to GLOBOsapiens. It really does depend upon the photo software that you are using (if any)and the operating system that you have on your computer. If you care to email me via the CONTACT menu heading above, with your system and software details, I will try and fathom out and explain how to reduce your pictures to an acceptable GLOBO upload size. My own photo files are all digital ones of around 14.4m pixels - with a resolution of 28.3 pixels per cm. - I reduce them down 5.25 per cm to reduce the file to an acceptable size to Globo.

Thanks for your posting and Its nice to hear someone likes my pics, Britman just takes the pee out of them and the owner of the site Andreas doesnt share my sense of humour. hehehe!! Are you gonna write a report on Machu cos I really wanted to go last time but my girlfriend at the time didnt want to go at all....bummer!! So Id love to hear about it.....hint hint!!! hehehe

I think you will love this sight and I too was in Rio and was wondering if that was from a chopper or a baloon or something!

Hi Amanda,

Welcome to Globosapiens. I loved seeing your Rio picture of Corcovada - how did you get so high to take the shot from that angle? It brought back many memories of my only visit there 20 years ago....and I long to go back!
Keep the pictures coming and why not try your hand at writing reports?...If you have any travel questions that you want to know or want to contribute - you will find the forum most useful. Everybody here seems to help everyone else - its a great place.
