Manchester pubs
Posted: 2006-04-13 11:11 AM
Hi Amanda
I've identified the pub[s] you meant in your correspondence with Clive. There are two, The Old Wellington Inn and Sinclair's Oyster Bar, sometimes collectively called 'The Shambles'
i've put a good website in Clive's guestbook but the last time i tried to paste the same words in two websites the RED INK zapped me and threatened me with expulsion from Globo.
Cheers

Manchester Wheel

Just spoken to a friend in Manchester who says it is by the Printworks complex round the back of M&S. Still don't know what the pub in the picture is though, never mind.
Best Wishes

Hi Amanda, where is the Manchester wheel located. I have been trying to guess from the pub sign in your photo but can't recognise it.

Hi Misty,
Duh...I thought to look in my guest book and saw - u!
I live in a place called Oulu - its 65degrees!
What part of UK are u in? - I used to live in the Croydon area... but most of my family are now in Sussex and Essex. I left UK at 19 to live in Canada - hope to get back there soon.

hiya!!
wow... skiing in italy must be great! i have not done that... only managed to ski when i was in gulmarg, kashmir earlier this year.
btw... camping would be great.. i too was scared the first time when i did... in fact, i was 15 when i tried camping and i failed! i was so scared that i asked my dad to take me home! and yes.. i failed my leadership girl guide course! (";) oh well... but i overcame that and i had been camping several times when i was in australia.
i am going to athens + dubai from 19 april to 1 may. am flying emirates so i will stopover over for few days in dubai. am attending a friend's wedding in athens.
and in either june/july my bf and i will be heading to either ireland, or norway (for midnite sun) or s.africa for a 10days hol. i do not know where i will be going as he will make the final decision.
and i believe my firm will have a company's trip sometime in late oct to early nov - probably going to sarawak or sabah or thailand.
