Thank you for your congratulations.
You have around Cannes a lot of wonderful villages as Mougins, St Paul de Vence, Cabris etc... And the roads to go Monaco by moyenne corniche and Grande corniche where ther are beautiful points of view.
What do you like and what time you have ?
If I'm there I can show round you, I must go in Guadeloupe maybe.

Caribbean Sea

Hi Amanda,
I will be in the Caribbean Sea next February. I sailed there from Martinique to the South. Next time we will sail to the North but I don't know the the complete course.
It is wonderful to be in the warmth when Germany is covered with snow. It's also lovely going skiing but it's also special to go sailing while others do wintersports. :-)
I think not too many people sailing the Caribbean Sea also go around as a back packer. Maybe the "worlds" are too different. (poor guys).
By the way, as a child I joined the kindergarden in Singapore for about two years.

By coincidence I travelled a short distance on an unbelievably slow train on my way back from Portugal between stations in Manchester. They were raving about where they had been and I asked them where it was. No need to tell you!
We definitely have it in mind to go this year.
