Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

Indochina/SE Asia

Rudi,

It is really amazing being here. I have now seen quite a bit of Asia and would highly recommend it. If you get a chance, I suppose that goes without saying, you must visit.

I really do count myself as being lucky or more to the point blessed.

Have a great day

Louvain, Leuven

Posted: 2010-03-24 02:40 PM
Hi Rudi,

I uploaded this report intentionally to both Louvain and Leuven. And both are intentionally in English. We use both versions of the spelling in English, by the way. Neither my French nor Flemish are good enough to write reports. ;)

There are many places, like Krakow, Cracow, Krakov, Krakau, which are included in the Globo's database under various names as separate places. Which is wrong, as there is only one spelling accepted by the international community and/or English language (if we want to stick to that).

But there are countries, like Belgium, where places have two names, given the ethnic fabric of the state. Until we have a mechanism in Globo to refer more than one spelling to a single place, I intend to upload reports and also travel tips to all of those variants. This is to ensure that people searching for data and using only one of the spelling variants, can find the maximum material.

Kindest regards
Krys

Your Comment of my Myanmar picture

Posted: 2010-03-24 12:15 PM
Hi Rudi, thank you for your comment and the rating on my picture of a small boy (Myanmar). You will not believe it, he dispolayed a little butterfly on his head I gave him, he was very self-confident and not the least shy.
So long.
