Hi Ardelia
I really enjoyed your pictures of lost city in Cambodia.
I know now how it was for you to climb all this steep steps.
It was fun,but no fun going up and down-very steep for me i'm sure.
Keep it up posting

Hi Ardelia,
I'm so glad that you managed to add some pictures. Of course had I now been voting I would have had no hesitation in awarding you 5*****. Alas it is too late!
Well done! Hope that your next report coincides with the pictures so that you can get both the merit and the praise you deserve.
Kind regards,
Brit

Koh Samui – Thankfully no tsunami’s on this side of Thailand
Posted: 2005-01-11 02:40 AM
Hi Ardelia,
Thanks for reading and rating my report on Koh Samui.
I had amended this report to include this message:-
*****This east coast area of Thailand was fortunately completely unaffected by the dreadful tsunami that devastated the west coast of Thailand on the 26th December 2004.*****
Koh Samui is on the opposite side of Thailand in the Gulf of Siam and of course the tsunami struck the Western side. Life of course continued as normal here although I am told that current visitor levels are high because many tourists have transferred here from the west coast the only part of Thailand hit by the tsunami.
Bangkok Airways do plan to have direct flights from KL in the near future. Meanwhile they continue to fly direct from Bangkok and Singapore to the island of Samui.
I am delighted that you are enjoying your membership here on GLOBOsapiens and it is great to have you as a member of our club. Keep travelling and of course keep telling us all about your travels.
