Gloria,
I am looking forward to your Feb journey through India. Right now, we have scheduled to do our trip in late Aug/early Sept and are going to the following:
Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Pushkar, Udiapur, Jodpur, Jaisalmer, Aurangabad (to see the caves at Ellora/Ajanta), ending in Bombai - all in 16 days, including flights.

How are you planning to get around India. We are looking at having a driver for the whole journey up to our flight to Aurangabad. We looked into trains and buses, but our schedule is so tight that I would hate to lose time that way.

I hope to get some tips from your trip!

Forgot to say in my previous message that I enjoyed your Paris slide show tremendously. I especiallyliked the photo of the Picasso Museum because this in an ordinary street and is so typical of Paris.

Gloria,

I got my visa about a month ago. It is valid for 6 months. South India will be nice and warm so no hot water bottles for us. I'll take the minimum in two hand luggage sized suitcases. The only thing I am sure to take is the mosquito net.

It is very big and can easily cover two beds. It often means that we have to rearange the room, and have to screw a hook into the ceiling. We put a bedsite table on the bed and if this is not high enough a chair on top of it. And guess... my husband climbs on to it ill I steady it.

Do you ever travel to Europe? and in particular the Netherlands? If you do, let me know.
