Hi, thanks for your today’s nice message.
I wait until January 2006 to show 10 Yakutia pictures at minus 41 degrees centigrade, because I think that I am only allowed to include 10 pictures per month (for free), unless you win an award in Globo, which is not my case.
Next journey will take me to Pitcairn Island, in the Pacific Ocean, beginning of February 2006. Do you remember the mutiny of the Bounty?

Hi Gloria! how good that you wrote me. Thanks. The picture of my profile was taken in the airport of Petropavlovsk Kamchatskii by a soldier while waiting for the Army decision to let me travel around Kamchatka. Finally I was authorized to stay but I had to register in a visa office called OVIR and pay a small fee, about 50 roubles only.
But your profile picture is much better that mine, and beautiful!!!
Yes, the crab of my picture can be eaten and is delicious; some of them weight about 50 kilos; it is sold in cans in Moscow and other parts of Russia and of the world. It is called Chatka, and is considered a delicatessen, especially the legs.
Anushka is the diminutive for Anna. Her official name is Anna Jorgevna, written in Russia Cyrillic as AHHA XOPXEBHA, but Russians love affective names, so I call my daughter Ania, Aniuta, Anushka, etc. My friends rarely call me Jorge in Russia (written like XOPXE), but Georgi, Yura, Yuri, and even with more familiarity (when we are in the Russian bania or sauna) Gosha and Goga.
In January 2006 I will show you the pictures (ten I am only allowed) that I took in Yakutia under 41 degrees centigrade!

gloria, thanks for your letters. They make me keep hot at minus 41!
Today I just flew to Novosibirsk, here is warmer, and when we crossed in the airplane the longitud line coinciding to Singapore I remebered you and sent you a kiss through the longitude line down to your country, like that you will receive it straight from the ski.

Have you been to Dubai before? We were in Sharjah and went on daytrips to Dubai. It was a perfect holiday. Everybody had warned us that the UAE was just a sandpit. OK, there is a lot of sand but also good food and interesting sights especialli in Dubai.

I hope you will have some time for yourself to see Dubai souk.
