Hi Veronica
How about giving us a slide show? Some of your report photos are so good. If you have any problem with it, do ask.
Cheers, David

Hi Veronica,

Dont worry about the butterfly coment ,thats just Rudi being jelouse of my friendships I have with people all over the world.... some people use Globo to show off where tthey have been in the world, others use it as a forum to display some awesome photography while I like to make friends with people from all over the world. I am a firm beliver that Friendship makes the world go round and I have learnt so much about the world and its customs from the friendships I have forged from being on Globo.......... and yes... I have many lady friends.... what can I say.... I like ladies.. I find them easier to talk to and it has to be said ....much prettier to look at!! heheheheehe ;)
Anytime Im in the U.K. and you wanna be shown around ...I would consider it an honour and a pleasure to be your guide. and if I make it to your lakes sometime soon..... with my boards in tow.... of course Ill teach you the ways of my watery exsistance!!!
Take care
Matt

Hi again Veronica and thanks. Thanks for your comment on my Cusco report as well. I hope you get to SA but I do recommend doing it on a group thing. That's not just a dreary old gimmer tlaking. The younger members thought so too - although one of them intends to go back and hire his own porters in a couple of years time - now he's found his way round a bt.

Hi Veronica
I supose that if you express negative feelings, you are almost bound to upset somebody but Heaven preserve us from having to enthuse over everything and everywhere. Negattive comments about a place can be quite as valuable as positive ones.
As I've said before I really enjoy tour fresh and open honesty - you'll have gathered that I've just read your log.
Best wishes and I look forward to your next report.
Cheers, David

Not everything is rosy

Hi Veronica,
I thought your report on Xi'an and the Terracotta Warriors was great. The best thing you show in all of your reports is a good sense of humor and of course everyone has the right to their own opinion. I'd rather read yours over many other very boring ones you come across on this site, even if it is about a place you did not like, it still gives some insight and best of all a bit of amusement. Keep it up.

Your reports

Hi Veronica
'Wow!' nearly a year of silence and now this! It's good to see a younger member so enthusiastic and looks good for the future of the site.
Ironic that I gave my only grading less than 5 for one of your favourites. Perhaps that's why. I like your open criticisms in most other reports. Lhasa is different and needs no explanation.
One thought. You mention the danger of repetition. I think you cope with it well but I have sometimes found that if I publish several reports at once, it lowers the grade a bit.
With my recent 7 on peru I was careful to space them over a few days. Just another idea.
Cheers

Hi Veronica
Thanks for the rating and comments about the trip reports to China. Must be quite interesting to study in China by the way...are you able to learn some Chinese?
