Thank you so much for your congrats! I must say that I am looking forward to seeing the slide shows of the "food vans". This same process is repeated on the Malaysian Island of Penang where the food vans line up with an array of treats, but nowhere near as colourful as in Tahiti.

I have just returned from China and Thailand and am busy writing up a few reports and uploading my snaps.

...so glad to hear from you again. Reviewed your pictures again, 5 pages (100+) of ***** and **** pictures. I cannot understand how you missed getting an award at GLOBO till now! Perhaps put a slideshow or more together on a topic or place?

Hi Bert,

Thanks for your message, this is the first time that I have climbed to the top rung of the Globo ladder. It sounds silly but I have never deliberately aimed at reaching the number one GLOBOsapiens spot. Numbers and the “so called status” of being the “primus inter pares” don’t really turn me on!

The Number one spot has been reached temporarily by me simply because I have happened to upload all my digital pictures held on computer. I seem to take more pictures than most because I can’t keep my finger off the shutter button! (Truly what is more important, I don’t lose them forever if my computer crashes!).

I expect to see regular changes to the GLOBO membership top members list – it is certainly an achievable moveable feast for all!

Sp pleased that you decided to join GLOBO and contribute so much to this community.
