Thanks David.
I am preparing another series about Sukhumi, a very little known city, the capital of the Republic of Abkhazia.
I am also posting, right now, two pictures of the Church/Nunnery in Tbilisi that you so much love.

Tunisia
Posted: 2007-12-27 09:43 AM
Tunisia is only hot, to very hot in June, July August and September. The rest of the year it can even be COLD. The north coast is never very hot, not even in July and August. If ever you go to Tunisia, the only interesting place is Carthago whose ruins are scattered across Tunis. They can all be reached by train (kind of metro). Other Roman remains are also worth a visit, but that is about it.
In the rest of the country you can find oases, underground cities, not-really-authentic markets and several more tourists attractions, all very cleverly marketed by the tourist board.
What we like about Tunisia is the light. It is so clear, so beautiful it is a kind of sunbathing for the eyes.

hello David, well , i think it was one of this moments when i've had a feeling that automatic settings just won't work , and i was quite right, conscious moment when simple pushing shutter of a toy camera just isn't enough, and there comes a ''quality hunger'' for more sophisticated equipment, films, and so on. When i was in primary school in photo club , playing with everything from the basics of BW developing i didn't realised that after 10years that 'bug' would wake up to be a quite important part of my life. After all i can say that i am able to take better photos on manual settings that auto "idiotproof" one. i'm happy to have such inspiration from being a Globo and to have such "stars" like you to look at. :) martin

I'm here...

David, thanks a lot for your message! That was very kind of you!
I have been very exhausted this summer and autumn, and I have not been able to realize my potentials as travel writer... :-) Not that I have been travelling much anyway...
I am planning a trip in jan/feb to several destinations in US. Maybe there wil be a result from that here at Globo... :-)
Thanks again!
