Hi David, thank you for your friendly commet on my report. The Hunza Valley was a dream. Besides that is the area where people live longer and healthier than everywhere in the world.

hi David thanks for your message,I was actually born in East London but brought up in a children's home in Essex. I moved to Devon in1975 to a rural village near Exeter and never regretted it. I am a complete novice with this computer lark but I am finding it quite useful in obtaining info. about other places as my wife and I like take at least one holiday per year, never the same place twice. We are off to Kos (Kefalos) in May to add another Greek island to our travels.Kindest regards Jacko1.

Your collection is right, it is definitely Via Appia Antica, actually I am living very close to it. My office is actually is just along it.
You are right on getting the comments of other members here, I am telling me a different reason, I am doing this only for my own fun and sharing it with others. I am really enjoying what I am doing, learning a lot from this process, at least attitudes toward travelling are totally changed.
Chinese says living a peaceful life after you retire, I hope you do so, finding will make you enjoy your life more. I am still pretty young, but I got this from my own travelling experience.

Thank you indeed, David. That's quite important for sharing and stimulating people here to work more for the facilitation of others. Sometime, I am thinking maybe it was useless, because very few people really looked at it, which in certain way hurts the enthusiasm for continuing. By the way, I will not give up, just want to finish Via Flaminia, and start another one, Via Appia Antica, It is called the queen of long road. I am looking forward to starting it.
Best Regards

Miami

Hey David,
As holiday destinations go, Miami was definitely not my favourite. But it is pleasant and I found the art deco buildings fascinating. But to be honest I don't think anyone to pay me to go there again. Even the Everglades (a place that I've always wanted to visit) were a little disappointing.
All the best

Hi David,
I hope you are well. Thank you for your recent comments on my material. You are as always very kind.
I know that there are people, who do not like my style of writing. I am not too bothered about it. I'd be fooling myself if I thought that I could please everyone.
Kindest regards
Krys
