bonjour Burak

wow... I just read Vigeland's brief biography with the parks details on the link you gave me.. It's very impressive. I do believe that the park will be in one of our soon travel. We really do want to experience it first hand.
If you're ever in Winnipeg, Canada, in the Assiboine park there is also a park of statues. It is very nice too.. perhaps I should load some of these pics on Globo one day.
Merci for sharing that site with me.:-)

The sculptures in Vigeland Park's are quite interesting indeed.:-) Was there others similar to that one close by? Is it a theme of statues in that park?

Cappadocia

Hi Boris,
I just want to let you know that I have posted some of my photos of Zelve Valley in Cappadocia. It was one of the endless number of fantastic places that I visited when I was in Turkey. I hope to return. I would love to live in Turkey, but my knowledge of the language is minimal.

Burak,
I just reread your report; for some reason, I forgot you wrote about Oslo.

More photos of Istanbul please
Posted: 2005-02-04 12:34 AM
Merhaba Burak,
Nasilsiniz? My Turkish is pitiful, it has been so long since I have used it. I enjoyed your photos, especially the ones of Istanbul. I see that you live in Istanbul, so if you get a chance to post more photos, I would enjoy them. I have some photos of Turkey posted on my page, so take a look if you have time. My first week in Istanbul I stayed at the Para Palas Hotel. It is very beautiful. I didn't take a picture of it. It was exciting to walk across the bridge over the Bosphorus. I had to follow an old woman across the street, because I was too afraid. Thanks for sharing! James
