New islands and flags
Posted: 2006-04-14 02:43 PM
... I got Bouvet and other islands added like you requested during your Kiril trip, remember. For you to get the credit, best use the proceedure discribed at www.globosapiens.net/topic-how-to...-add-a-new-place_34_1632_0000.html
If you have a longer list it will help Andy if you could give references like a website or some notes. If you need help with this, send me the list but try initiate the "suggest a new city" - I got hammered by a moderator for adding the Antarctic islands under my profile without having being there myself!
For the missing flag, I requested it just for Dubai at:

Bonne journee
Isa.

You reached Pitcairn anyway!
Posted: 2006-04-07 11:57 AM
Congratulations Jorge!
I was keeping my fingers crossed for the good weather at Pitcairn for you! Stay was short, but You still saw the most important places!
I am back home after this fascinating journey through Atlantic. My next dream came true... Since many years I was dreaming about king penguins in South Georgia, lonely Tristan and Napoleon's places on St Helena: saving money, giving up many less importans things and pleasures... People (also from GS) do not understand that: if somebody travelling alone already crossed up and down with his backpack Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas he can dream now about new, distant island... There was no other way to these islands then aboard such a ship like "Maryshev"... They also do not know that with some effort and intelligence you can beat down the official price of the expedition... (Experienced travellers know how...)
Thanks for your wishes
Greetings from Gdansk!

Chad Food

I'll remember to pack my own food when I go to Chad. Worms and ostrich eggs aren't my favorite.

When young travelers read new and ALL your reports and see your pictures they get a little bit of encouragement and new goals. For organisizing their trips and life, this is wonderful!
You make me wish I was young again!

Great adventures
Posted: 2006-03-25 05:42 PM
Hi Jorge, I’ve just spent a very interesting hour looking through some of your reports and photos, you’ve had some great adventures.
I am new to GLOBO and really more of a tourist than a traveller so am unlikely to get to many of the places that you have been to. However I have been picking up tips about report writing from you more experienced members and will hopefully be publishing more of my own soon.
Kind Regards
Clive
