Hi Isabelle
I can't carry on in French although it comes back after a bit of I go to France.
Thanks for the comment on my Lucca page. if you ever have the time and no more exotic places lined up, it's easy and quite cheap to get there now via Pisa airport.
Did you notice we have another French woman joined today? I've told her about you and Marielle.
Cheers

A most interesting collection. I will return to it to research more about Gilbert Marshall. William Marshall had a big influence on my native town Carlow.

Have I told you that your slide show on London's small churches is exquisite?! :)

Eurostar
Posted: 2006-05-28 11:47 PM
Hi Isabel
Well - at last we have travelled on Eurostar! - even if it was only from Bologna to Firenze. It was a pleasant though expensive experience.
Later in our holiday we missed a connection at Terni and had the choice of a 30 minute wait for a Eurostar with a supplement or a regional train without supplement after half an hour. It's fortunate we opted for the latter because the Eurostar was twenty minutes late!
Cheers

Isabelle,
Thanks for reading my Symi report. The sponges I brought home made great gifts, but I hope they don't get mouldy. It is a great little island but not in the main holiday season.

isabelle, rain

Isabelle,
It is raining here too, and has been for the last week or even longer now I think of it. We had a bank holiday yesterday and a bridge day today. Monday is a normal working day. Shame you have to work, but when the weather is not nice it is probably better to work.

Isabelle,
Will you spend the bank holiday exploring London with your camera?

Maple syrup

You can't visit Canada and not do the maple syrup thing. It was gorgeous. I even had to bring a couple of bottles back with me - sad I know.
