Have you been to Venice before?

It was my first time in Venice and we were staying in a b&b on the Lido, which I liked very much as it meant we had to take the boat across the lagoon at least twice a day and it was always very enjoyable to see Venice from the water.

On the day I took the photo we got up really early and took the vaporetto at 5am in the morning, because we wanted to see Venice before it got crowded with tourists. I took photos of Piazza San Marco with not a single other person around, it was really special.

By the way, the sunsets are also great from the Lido, I've posted a photo of that earlier. You should be able to find it if you go to my pictures and have a look under Venice.

Hi Yuliang,

Thanks for the New Year wishes. I am not an ox. I think I might be a pig or rat, I cannot remember.

For the New Year's Eve I went to see my cousin in Berlin. I did not do much over there and it does not warrant a report. I posted a few entries into the travel log, though. I have been to Berlin many, many times and I have plenty of information to write a few reports, but somehow I do not feel like writing about Berlin that much. I am not what this is.

But I have a few ideas for some other reports, which I should post sooner rather than later...
