Hi Tom,

A nice series of garden pictures, without the English obsession with gardens, big or small, our cities would only be home to people, rats and houseflies!!!.

isn't that a nice toy to have these theme albums? Great idea to show us your garden - I am looking forward to it. Probably many travellers will come to visit it after that, hehe. ;-) What kind of train was coming down the street in Cologne? Please, excuse my poor English - do you mean a tram or the carnival parade??? Yes, it is a pity: I did all my nice voyages w/o a digi, too. Don't know if a scanner can really help.
Happy Easter to you and your family - Petra

Thanks for both your signings Tom, I will try to arrange a deluge for our wonderful leaders, I have a soft spot for them, a bog on Dartmoor! Cheers, Tony.

Hello Thomas.

Thomas, my friends live in Mississauga. They took me to Niagara Falls and the Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. I did not visit the American side. I had no US visa.
My next trip, hm? I do not know yet. :-).
Best regards.

Hi Thomas,

I have nice remembrances from my stay in Niagara. Some they speak that it is simply much water, but me pleased waterfalls and the city. Restless waters cause that photo it is a little in the fog , but the person which saw this with one′s eyes, knows about this. That to thank for the comment.
Best regards,

Hi Thomas, thanks for your reply, I am not an NT member but I do enjoy travelling a bit in the UK and do appreciate historic buildings. I am still playing with a friend's camera at the moment and I am taking it to Greece in May along with my old Olympus and will take shots with both for comparison, Cheers, Tony.

Rapa Nui - statues
Posted: 2009-02-06 12:09 PM
Hi Thomas,
Thank you for your recent comments to my material on GLOBO. The statues of Rapa Nui are a true mystery for sure. They were carved out of the volcanic rock. Many of them are still there in various stages of a finished product. The mystery was how they managed to place the hats on the top of the heads to balance them so nicely.
The Japanese Government, who sponsored the restoration of a few of the temples struggled to raise some of the statues in the same way as they might have been in the past...
The island is a real treat for travellers!
Kind regards
Krys

Hi Thomas,

Nice to be in touch again, I have been playing around with a friends digi, it is possible to do some amazing things with them, the only downside for me is that it would make me a bit lazy, I consider that composition is the most important aspect of a good pic nd was told many times by a pro. that the most important part of any camera is the human eye behind it!. I am going to Kos in early May and will take my friend's camera to try properly before deciding.pps I am happy to use globo standard at the moment, one step at a time, regards and keep well, Tony

I have at last managedto crack this pic thing by using the wizard, I may save up and buy a digi thing but for the moment I'll stick with my trusty old Olympus. Cheers for now, Tony.
