Hi Thomas, I just did the same thing!! and it worked. Agood friend of mine ( in the actual world ) is gozo johnny and as luck would have it he joined globo using that name so his email address was easy. Thanks for your comment on the pic. I added text but somehow it veered off course to another planet. Regards, Tony.

Hi Thomas, I managed to upload a picture that I took in Nth Tenerife in1994, looking towards Punta Brava. The sunset on the water happens very rarely in that place and despite any adverse comments I may get no,one else can do it because it is totally built over now, including the beach!!. regards, Tony.

I think we've all done this at one point.
Just thought I point it out before you get ratings and comments and then it's a shame when you have to delete them.
regards

Hi Thomas, I still use a 25 year old Olympus az 300 super zoom (real film) and have only just discovered how to scan to a file and then download to a website!!. One step at a time. I used the wizard on xp to guide me and that wasn't easy, it took me at least 6 attempts to manage that. I wasn't kidding when I said I was a novice but you can teach an old dog new tricks!. Watch this space, thanks for your comments, regards Tony.

coincidence?

Hi Thomas, thanks for signing my guestbook. a strange thing has occurred recently. I have recently been trying to trace my ancestors, quite difficult as I was brought up in children's home from 1945-1955, but have been able to ascertain a little information about my 3times great grandfather. It seems that he left Bergen for Newcastle in the early 1800's and married an Irish girl before moving to London shortly after. An elderly relative who passed away recently said that she thought he changed his name to Dean because his own surname was too difficult to pronounce!. Kindest regards, Tony.
