About 30 minutes out of Munich, this old World-War-I aerodrome established 1911 is a permanent exhibition on 7.800 m2 of hall area and of more than 50 aeroplanes. Two of the old-times still work and make flights over Munich occasionally. While some aircraft are displayed at the "Deutsche Museum" in the centre of Munich, this extension of the collection is a must for aircraft enthusiasts and the curious, live size models of the first aircraft to hands on and touchable military jet-fighters.
