The oldest Indian restaurant in Munich, since then there are some others in the area. The cuisine here is so special and the aroma so strong that one can often be attracted to it streets away when in the area.
This place is famous in the city for it's Chana or Kashmiri Gosht (lamb) and Murg Jaipuri or Mango or Mumtaz (chicken). Yum! They have a small beer garden on the side under a huge tree too, wind protected, open always in summer whenever the weather is good. Friendly and quick service and different, unlike the Mediterranean stuff, yet just as extremely romantic!
Best news (2007): Eat-all-you-can buffet midday for €6,50 or specially on Sundays/Holidays €9,50 and ladies pay one-for-two on Mondays.....
"Curry'ntly" my very hot cuisine tip!
