Jewish Museum - Torah covers's by siffer

Budapest - Hungary, Budapest The Jewish Museum of Budapest is a small but superbly organized building adjacent the Great Synagogue, on the site of early Zionist Theordore Herzl's childhood home. Four rooms are devoted to the Sabbath, the Holidays, Rites of Passage, and the Horrors of the Holocaust. Here, breast plates for the sacred Torah scrolls from the Sabbath Room. The Holocaust room is draped in black and describes the events leading to the murder of 500000 Jews in just three months in 1944. Clearly written in English and Hungarian, it offers a concise yet comprehensive history of the days of terror.
