Matthias Fountain's by siffer

Budapest - Hungary, Budapest Hidden behind the royal palace and in a state of disrepair is the Matthais fountain, lacking even an identifying sign, unlike the Prince Eugene of Savoy statue at the front. This fountain features the king with his hunting dogs and entourage. At the bottom and right, Ilona, a peasant girl who fell in love with the hunter without realizing he was king. When she found out, and knew her background would keep her from a continued relationship, her heart broke into pieces. Such is the legend of the statue.
