Bijapur is a city in stae of Karnataka in India. It was capital city of the dynasty of Adilshaha who ruled for around 3 centuries. there are mny buildings which shows the signs of ruined dynasty
The fort at vijapur
there is a building called Gol Ghumaj. its a vast dome designed in such a way that if you whisper at the wall, it is clearly heard at the daigonally opposite place. the diameter is around 200 meter but you can hear the sound of the paper being torn off. the building is actually a tomb of a family belonging to the ruling dyanasty. there are many buildings which are still in good forms even after 400 years. a building is similar to Taj mahal but built in black stone, not white as Taj mahal
Favourite spots:
Garden at Bijapur
There are many old buildings in the old city. the palace, the garden and the Gol ghumaj in particular
What's really great:
The big Gun at the fort, called Mulukh maidan
the acritecture of the buildings is fantastic. In particular the gol ghumaj
Remember I [and most others] only know about this place what you tell us. You could say a bit more about some of the other buildings. Fair enough if there aren't pubs or clubs but try to get something substantial into all the other headings if you want higher gradings.
