Seeking information on Mal Pais. I will be arriving in June of 2007. I understand it is the green season . How green can I expect? Visiting Costa Rica for three weeks and will spend most of my time in Jaco absorbing the rich culturals of the locale. Will it be necessary to rent a vehicle or will I be able to get aroung via the public transportation. Also, does Jaco have a weekly outdoor market similiar to San Jose. Is it pratical to travel to Mal Pais from Jaco fro an overnight stay returning the folloing day? I want to experince the true culture of Jaco and in search of unique events which may take place the first half of June 2007? What type of carnivals or gatherings are scheduled which a large group form. The water in the pacific, is it warm? A beach Break at Jaco beach? CAn I buy a Surf board in Jaco and sell it back after I am finished.
