We've visited lots of places. Most of the time on the road, travelling around and searching for interesting expiriences. But this time it was not only vacation, it was our honeymoon - and we certainly nedded a rest. On the other hand we knew that staying just in a resort would bore us to dead. So we decided to go real top of the market resort with the possibility to explore when ever we felt like. Sounds improbable? It wasn't it was great. Jimbaran is situated in Bali south of Kuta. The beach is said to be the finest stretch of white sand that can be found on that island, including nice waves and fantastic sunsets. The village is far more relaxed then Kuta and you can still get in touch with the locals.

What's really great: |
Even if in the touristic developed area the hawkers are really bad most locals on Bali are very friendly and openminded. It is a pleasure to talk to them and to learn something about their very special culture.

Sights: |
There are lots of places to visit on Bali. One of the most interesting is Tenganan - a village of the Bali Aga the original Balinese inhabitants from the time before the hindus came to Bali. The Bali Aga have kept their ancient culture alive with strict rules and have not accepted to modern influences.
