There is a museum below the viewing stand which is full of history and artifacts. Well worth the parking fee it see this free monument. Dogs are allowed on the hiking trails. Make sure you have a leash! Crazy Horse monument. After a beautiful drive through the Black Hills visit this work in progress and see how a monument is made! The best thing for me was being able to buy a chunk of the mountian where the crazy horse statue is coming to life. It's only a donation and you can take your pick of lovely chunks of mountian!
