The Ksar Ghilane is a large Oasis 140kms into the Tunisian Sahara filled with palms and large golden dunes. It was the setting of many scenes from the English Patient. The Ksar itself is 2km away.

Technically 3* and short report but the place and pictures are unique and adventurous. Ksar Ghilane, when can we expect another report? I always like to read about way-out places like this specially. |

There must be a limit to what you can say about an oasis and some headings are clearly not relevant. However perhaps a picture or two of the vegetation? Basically a good interesting report. |

Informative but it looks as if you ran out of inspiration when you came to the heading; 'sights'.
