Nassau is the capital of the Bahamas and is on route for the big cruise ships from the states. A typical caribean place with a relaxed easy going way of life. In downtown Nassau you might encounter the usual hassle from local wannabe guides. The island itself has little to offer other then casino's and cheap american shops for the cruiseship tourists. Beautifull coastal waters though and this is where you really have to spend time!

Favourite spots: |
Beaches and the warm waters are the best places to spend your time. With a water temperature of some 28 degrees celsius it's great for snorkling or scuba diving.
What's really great: |
Cristal clear water for snorkling and the encounter with sharks, barracudas and even Manta rays!
Accommodations: |
We spend the 14 days in a cheap hotel near the center of Nassau with a filthy beach...
Restaurants: |
Lot's of cheap fast food restaurants.
