The river where the students train for the rowing competitions. The best spot is if you walk down from Christ College.

What's really great: |
The historic feel of the town (some of the colleges stem from the 12th century!).

Sights: |
Magdalen College. The Radcliffe Camera. Christ College.

Hangouts: |
The Turf Tavern - one of the oldest pubs in Oxford. It's really cute and you can sit outside and roast marshmallows or chestnuts in the open fires.
