1998 I spend my first time in France. It was school exchange program in Compiegne. Some people might know this place, because Napoleon builds a castle there for his fiancé. Very nice present! J Compiegne is also very close to Pierrefond. And I just loved this castle. It fits with movies like “Ever After” with Drew Barrymore.

The Highlight of my stay in France was, when I visited Paris for the first time. My host-family was so kind to show me every special place there. I really felt in love with Montmartre. I wanted to watch the artists the hole day long, but for one day, Paris is much to big. In 1999 I spend my second time in France. This time it was also a school-project, where we needed to learn everything about Paris. This time I finally had the chance to go onto the Tour Eifel. It’s really nice there, but I think it’s nicer to eat a Crepe on the saver floor J. I can also recommend the Boat trip “le Pont neuf”. It’s really nice to see what Paris has to offer from the waterfront.

Favourite spots: |
We had lunch in the Museé d’Orsay. That’s an old train-station with a really nice restaurant and Museum. If you want to dine as a king…… just go there. The prices are alright. If you go through the gates of the justice-something-bu-ilding you will find a wonderful church with some amazing windows in it. I don’t know its name, but I think it’s close to the Louvre.
