Muneer, Petra is very much on my list! I would love to see the cave churches. I hope to go there one of these years very soon.
Rick, you mentioned that you dove and the water temperature was quite good - I have a 3ml wetsuit - will this be sufficient? Or do I need to rent a 5ml?
We go in early June - we ended up with something down the middle. We have a pre-arranged itinerary with a driver/train passes. We are in the process of reading up on the things we want to see. It is so much to take in and we have just under 3 weeks in which to do it.

In my opinion cruise is much better, I always loved going on a cruise. Both you and your son will enjoy the trip. Sinai trip can be worth paying for.I had a great time scuba diving.
Hi I just wanted to leave a message here about any trips going to Egypt. I know of a tour company over there who provides excellent service. Some friends of mine just came from Egypt and have said that they provide exceptional service, complete tours and are at your beck and call 24/7. The contact person is Adham and the website is Spiderex777.tripod.com {click on the tourism link}
Egypt is a conservative country and visitors should respect this attitude. No topless or nude bathing is permitted. The most common classic tour is usually 10 to 14 days, and generally includes Cairo, Luxor. For Aswan further south in Egypt, a day tour is usually sufficient. Get wheels for your luggage and leave heavy items at home. If you don’t bring a camera you will be sorry. Sunglasses are a must as the sun is very strong in Egypt. The suggested tour is OK.
