Angel's Landing is the top of this monolith. There is a place towards the top that is about 3-5 feet wide. One side has an 800 foot drop to the bottom, the other side 1200 feet. I know my limits and this was it! I did not make it to the top.

A good pic Jill and a brave comment, a fall from a high place has never hurt anybody, the sudden stop at the bottom is very often lethal.

Tony, between June 2006 and May 2007, 7 hikers died here.

My remark was not intended to be flippant Jill, if nobody ever took chances nothing would ever be accomplished, sad for these hikers and their families though.

Don't worry Tony, I didn't think it was flippant. But you can understand why I didn't go to the top!
