Our trip to South America started in Peru in March 2003.
We landed in Lima, then flew to Puerto Maldonado in the Amazon. From there we journeyed up the Rio Tambopata to the Manu Biosphere Reserve to stay at a jungle lodge.
After this we flew up in to the Andes to Cusco. From here we travelled through the Sacred Valley and visited many Incan sites including Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo, Sasqueyhuaman and so on.
We then journey overland to Lake Titicaca and spent time out on the Uros Islands and Taquile Island before continuing from Puno into Bolivia.
