This is a collection of photos from the temples found in the Angkor Wat area. Angkor Wat is actually the collective term used to cover the numerous temples found around Siem Reap but there are also many others.
These include the walled complex of Angkor Thom that holds the Bayon with its huge enigmatic faces, Phnom Bakheng that offers one of the best spots to view the sunset over Angkor Wat, Banteay Srei with its beautiful carvings, Pre Rup and of course the jungle choked Ta Prohm that was featured in Tomb Raider.
Many of the temples feature false carved doors and windows and many intricate details.
