Continuing on our South American adventure we crossed into Bolivia from neighbouring Peru. The border checkpoint is straightforward if you have your Peruvian entry/exit card, not so easy without it. Guard this with your life.
We stayed in the small town of Copacabana on the shores of Lake Titicaca before continuing on to La Paz. This journey takes in some amazing scenery of the "Altiplano" or high plains and includes a ferry crossing at the shores of Lake Tiquina. These shores are guarded by the only inland navy in the world, that of Bolivia.
