View from the top of the Mirador's by eirekay

Tikal - Guatemala, Petén The Mirador, basically a rickety set of ladders built on a tall tree, takes you to the top of a very tall tree in the middle of the rain forest. Although located in Tikal Park, there are no views of the ruins themselves. It does, however, give you a real sense of why these ruins remained hidden for so long. The forest is dense!
