The common opinion was that she was only acting to grab attention, she posted comments 2 or tree times in a row for one picture, she uploaded loads of material where most was by the way not under her copy right just to get up the list. It is difficult to find a term fitting more similar behaviors. Gloria is a nice person I liked her a lot and jorge is right by saying that she contributed a lot and encouraged other members. However she also was doing kind of a attention grabbing. Two picture of the months have been not under her copyright. One might be explainable, but if you go for a second one without mentioning your wrong behaviour, it has a touch of attention grabbing, don't you think? I am open to suggestions and there is no problem in replacing that term with a better one. I just do not see the point of removing it since she has not even reacted. We gave her one week to respond before we placed that penalty. I wrote several emails asking her to enter the discussion but did not hear anything back :-( Like I said I am open ear for her, but she needs to act. I believe that everything can be discussed and a solution can be found for almost any problem, but there both parties should at least be present to form a discussion. Please let me know if you do have a good alternative for the red term. Feel free to post it into the forum. I have got her private e-mail address and sent her a message in the week that everyhing happened and another one last week. That is, in my opinion, enough. The points, of course, are deducted forever. Perhaps, with the time, she will come back. It is difficult to leave Globo after you have spent so much time and have so many friends. Let us give her a chance by first removing that red line, otherwise her mother can read it. However, after this few days I had decided to write some words. So ,who is a thief? Isn’t is a thief ,who steal some ones belonging? I guess a thief could be anyone, ether a man ,or a woman and even a child ,who steals someone’s book in school from his fellow student or a candy from the supermarket. When someone create something ,he puts his soul and love into this creation ,and when someone steals this soul or love ,then in my eyes he is a thief. We are all very sophisticated and many of us forgot about 10 Commandments .Very bad .We should a least try not to forget this 10 very important rules in our life. I really understand when people steal for the continued existence ,for the survival. Ones in my country everyone had been stealing ,because the life dictated citizens to do so-the food was in short supply, and bare necessities was almost impossible to get. It was very miserable for the most people .You work ,or you don’t you got nothing anyway. So ,everyone was stealing goods for the exchange for something.It was the way of our life there .George ,I guess you know a lot ,so I don’t have to go dip into the details. I do understand copying and many of us copy someone’s lifesiles for exsample,but copying and stealing is totally two different things. Yes we should and could forgive this inappropriate behavior ,but she had done nothing toward our forgiveness .It has been quiet some time after this incident had accrued and she is on the side of silence .Of coarse ,the images were very beautiful and it was for Gloria very tempting to call them her own .Again ,it is understandable ,but where is she? Is she really ignores the whole situation ,or she really feels the shame ,and doesn’t want to talk anymore.We all adults here and please no bad feeling. Like I mentioned before, that red line has not necessarily to stay forever inside her account. However at the moment I believe this is a fair trade between all parties. Gloria did wrong, she also did nothing to ease the situation. I have received many very, very angry e-mails about her behavior. There was also the point comming up of deleting her account since it is hard to judge which content is not within her copy rights. Considering all parties it is in my opinion fair to leave her account online, giving her the chance of earning her reputation back. Once she does that, the red line must not stay there forever. As some otheres mentioned until now there is only the sound of silence from her. Don't forget, we do also have members who are very angry about her since she took their material and labeled it as her's. Deleting the red line now would not be a serious penalty at all. She did wrong, and acting as nothing would have happend is not fair to the other members. Like I said, it's up to her to change that situation. When I now read that TWO 'PoMs' were cheats then I understand why she does not respond to my mail either! I think the red lines and the whole account should remain in the databanks as an example to all, the PoMs should also be marked in red! Sorry Jorge but that is the only way we can keep the copyright aspect under control. I hope Gloria joins again afresh! Considered the consitency of her posting "stolen" content, it is easily understandable that there are people who would like to have her account deleted. I also understand People who miss her heartyness and good spirit. But to think, by deleting the red entry in her activities section, it would bring her back, is a bit far fetched. Her not responding to any mails, as everybody claims, says so much. If ever she came back, cleaned up her site rigourously and delete all "stolen" content, everybody would like to have her in our round again. But the shame of being found out seams to weigh too heavy on her shoulders. She seams to fear that she is only liked because of her "high graded" content but doesn't understand that she's liked because of her friendliness. But don't get worked up to much. Members of GLOBOsapiens come and go some stay for longer periods others just short. There are always new ones to make friends. There are other members who I really miss who have been very active at a time but don't post anymore. But what can we do, this is how it is and we should concentrate on those people present. Now it really is up to Gloria to make contact with the family here at Globo and amend her photos and work to reflect exactly what is hers. It is quite obvious that almost nobody will hold a grudge but I do feel for the people who did have their excellent work claimed incorrectly. The red mark in her activities continue being very offensive. I know that even deleting it now, she, most probably, will not come back to Globo, at least for a long time, but that will help. Furthermore, her case is not the same than mrscanada’. I propose to delete that red line (Penalty for dubious behaviour…etc.) but not the 1000 points, from her score by her birthday on 29th May this year 2007. Let's stablish that red line for a year. I think that this period of time will be enough punishment for everybody doing malpractises. I think that in this way Globosapiens will show its humane side.
