I believe Jorge is right, penalties almost everywhere have a time limitation. You all have brought up good thoughts and arguments and I am integrating your suggestions at this moment into the GLOBOsapiens penalty system. Penalties will expire after one year. In gloriajames case this has passed and the red line is gone now inside her profile. The points are gone forever, but I believe this is a fair trade as I was also reading inside your comments. Please read my other post inside the development blog regarding the general topic on penalties expiration as this specific topic will be deleted in a few days. None of us are perfect; some, a lot of members, upload pics to the wrong locations, others are rude & insulting and others anal and over-critical (like me). Gloria never done this. She should though repair (delete) a few controversial items and then continue enjoying travel reporting together with us... She wrote me after I came back from the Camino de Santiago. She is travelling without stopping. In Dec. 2006 she went to Beijing and Xian, then to Melbourne during April 2007. In May 2007 she flew to Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Bahrain and South Korea, including Cheju Island. Then, in October 2007 to Taiwan, and again to Australia, USA West Coast… She will visit Spain and Portugal in June this year 2008. But I kind of know that ship has sailed now. She is OK, very happy, always travelling. We both hope to meet in Spratley islands or Nansha Qundao (a disputed archipelago in the South China Sea claimed by China, Vietnam, Philippines, Brunei and Malaysia) during this summer, after my imminent journey to Chukotka peninsula.
