information about mexico  Santa RosaliaMexico, Baja California Sur
During the XIX century some French families migrated to Santa Rosalia to exploit the mines of copper. The French constructed houses, bakeries, schools and the church of Santa Barbara, designed by Gustave Eiffel. Its interior is very original. I bought croissants in the bakery, which continues to cook bread and pastries according to the recipes left by the French.
