Ioannina - Greece, Ioánnina After the Greek Turkish War (1919-22), all the Turkish were expelled from Ioannina and sent to Turkey, but some mosques remained intact. That minaret seen in the picture is located within the walls, in the Ali Pasha Palace, inside the old fortress (Its Kale).
