Novi Sad - Serbia Novi Sad is a very pleasant town. The Serbians know it by “the Serbian Athens” due to its intense cultural life. During a full day I saw many churches, theatres and universities. But if I am honest, what I loved most of the town was the elegance of the fortress of Petrovaradin, at the other side of the River Danube.
